Events

The Salt Lake Board of Realtors® hosts several events throughout the year. Come network, meet potential business partners, learn from the best, or just have a great time! Our calendar is packed with events and classes each month, but here is a glimpse of some of our most popular gatherings. All events are subject to change and/or cancelation at the discretion of the Board.


JANUARY: HOUSING FORECAST BREAKFAST
The Housing Forecast Breakfast is the fastest-filling event of the year! The breakfast and presentation are held at The Little America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City. If you missed the live stream of the 2021 Housing Forecast, you can still watch the recording on our Salt Lake Board of Realtors® Members Page on Facebook. FEBRUARY: REALTOR® 500 LUNCHEON
This event celebrates the top-producing Realtor® members of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors®. It is by invitation only and is limited to 500 member-agents with the top sales numbers (gross sales volume), as reported on UtahRealEstate.com. Sales are counted for the primary buyer’s/seller’s agent under which they are reported and must be reported to UtahRealEstate.com by December 31 in order to be counted.
JUNE: DUES BILLING
Our billing cycle is a fiscal year and runs July 1 – June 30. New member dues are prorated to cover the month you join through the end of the billing cycle. Members who join January-June will pay their new member dues and their annual renewal dues in the same year. Annual dues are billed in May and should be paid by June 30 to be considered “on time.” July is a grace period, and dues can be paid through July 31 without penalty. JULY: BUSINESS & NOMINATIONS LUNCHEON
The Salt Lake Board of Realtors® holds an annual business meeting and luncheon every July, as required by the association’s bylaws. The meeting includes association updates, economic trends, and information on future activities. Nominees running for open positions on the Board of Directors are formally introduced at this meeting.
NOVEMBER: COMMITTEE SIGN-UP
All Salt Lake Board of Realtors® members are encouraged to serve on committees. Committee Sign-Up Day is held each November in the Membership & Education Center of the Realtor® Campus. If you can't come in person, committee sign-ups are open online through December. For more information, visit our Committees Page.
DECEMBER: HOLIDAY SOCIAL & SERVICE AWARDS
This is truly the best time of year to come together and celebrate all the good Realtors® do in their communities! This event is held at the Grand America Hotel in downtown Salt Lake City, accommodating nearly 1,200 people. With the swearing in of new directors, presentation of awards, RPAC giveaways, and unveiling of the year-end video, it is an event you won’t want to miss! Applications for service awards are accepted September through October.

Registration for this event typically opens a month prior to the event date. The exact date for each year will be announced and publicized to the membership when it is determined.
